Weaving an engaging fiction from the rich tapestry of history takes on some extra challenges when you're stitching in animal characters. Our panel will discuss several aspects such as research, where to diverge depending on the era, and what the core audience for your fiction often truly expects in terms of accuracy. This year, in honor of our theme, we'll also endeavor to spend a little extra time on the age of early Americana as a setting for your work.
